Parishioners are invited to gather on October 13 for a special Rosary Rally for Peace, joining Catholics across Canada and around the world in prayer through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
October 13 marks the anniversary of the final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to three shepherd children in Portugal in 1917. It was during this apparition that thousands witnessed what became known as the “Miracle of the Sun,” one of the most significant events associated with the Fatima message. The Blessed Mother’s call to prayer, conversion, and peace continues to inspire Catholics today.
Our Rosary Rally is part of a larger movement of public rosary events held throughout Canada and internationally each year. Organizations such as Canada Needs Our Lady coordinate hundreds of rallies across the country, encouraging Catholics to gather in prayer for their communities, their nation, and the world.
In a time marked by conflict, uncertainty, and division, we will come together to pray for peace in our families, our community, our country, and throughout the world. The Rosary remains one of the Church’s most powerful prayers, reminding us to place our trust in God and seek the guidance of Our Lady.
