In this graced Year of Jubilee, the Notre Dame Du Laus Church, a sacred pilgrimage site, welcomed a group of devoted parishioners from Beausejour, who journeyed to seek the indulgence offered at our historic shrine. Their visit was a beautiful testament to the unity and faith that bind our communities together in Christ.
The day began with a serene gathering at 9:30 am, as the Beausejour pilgrims joined our parish for an outdoor Rosary. Under the open sky, voices rose in harmony, offering prayers to Our Lady of Laus, whose intercession has drawn countless souls to this holy place. The shared devotion created an atmosphere of peace and anticipation for the day ahead.
Following the Rosary, the pilgrims participated in a solemn Mass, filling the church with heartfelt worship. The celebration of the Eucharist united us as one family in faith, as we reflected on the mercy and grace of this Jubilee Year. The presence of our Beausejour brothers and sisters enriched the liturgy, reminding us of the universal call to holiness.
After Mass, the festivities continued in the church basement, where we gathered for the Our Lady of Laus Feast. Laughter, conversation, and shared meals fostered a spirit of fellowship. The Beausejour parishioners brought warmth and joy, and their stories of faith inspired us all. It was a moment to cherish, as we broke bread together and celebrated the blessings of our shared pilgrimage.
In a gesture of reciprocity, the Beausejour community has graciously invited our parish to join their Jubilee pilgrimage on September 20 and 21. We look forward to this opportunity to deepen our bonds and continue this journey of faith together.
The visit from Beausejour was a radiant moment in our Jubilee Year, a reminder of the power of pilgrimage to unite hearts and renew spirits. We give thanks for their presence and pray that Our Lady of Laus continues to guide us all toward her Son.
